Description:
OSI® GreenSeries™ Flameseal® Fire, Smoke & Draft Stop Sealant is a non-flammable, latex based
fire stopping sealant. This one component sealant is designed for use in both residential and
commercial fire stopping applications. Developed to seal service penetrations and joints in fire
separations and firewalls, it prevents the passage of flame, smoke and fumes under actual fire
conditions of 1, 2, and 3 hour fire resistance rated systems. Flameseal® utilizes a special waterborne
technology that is both non-toxic and non-hazardous and cleans up with water.
Recommended Uses:
Used for penetrations in fire rated gypsum wallboard, concrete, concrete block and wood
partition floor & wall assemblies.
Primary sealing applications include CPVC plastic, copper, steel, cast iron and ABS pipes.
Works well for sealing around sprinkler lines/heads up to 4” (100 mm), EMT, conduit and concrete construction joints.
Adheres to wood, drywall, concrete, steel, copper, cast iron, and other common building
materials.
Compatible with ABS, PVC, CPVC, PP, PE and PB plastic material. Also compatible with all
electrical wiring and telecommunication cables. All other substrates should be tested for
compatibility prior to use.
Limitations:
Use this product only on listed Systems Designs printed in the Underwriter Laboratories and Warnock
Hersey fire resistance directories.
Coverage:
For a 10.2 fl. oz. cartridge:
